Globe cafe!

Duncan and I went to the Globe Cafe in St. Pete last night with some of his new friends from the figure sessions around town. It was fun! There was a live performance by a couple of guys on guitars! Good stuff.

Oh! Also, I lost my sketch book so I made this one at work before I left, out of scrap paper, then I binded it together with this comb bind. Crazy... I miss my sketch book :(


This one I drew all out and I felt like expirimenting with some washes. I had my brush with me so I dipped it in my iced tea! These things just come to me!

Inked...just getting used to my pallet...for some odd reason the pen is being fidgity at times and messing around with the pressure.

Sketches of our Lives

I've been in airports alot recently. Heres a few random sketches from those experiences. I've also been trying to look at my drawing less while I draw. I find that its alot quicker aswell as better when I look more at what I'm drawing rather than my actually drawing.

It's been awhile

Sorry about the long absense here I've been around and working on some free lance stuff. Here are 2 of the characters Im working on for my Church's Summer Camp, back in MN. The camp's theme this year is Superheros! So Im bascily doing a 4 page comic and a cover. Should be interesting cuz Im gonna be inking it digitaly. Few things Im planning on not giving the characters costumes because I want the kids to relate to them more. Also trying to cover the races as best as I can, there'll be African, Caucasian, Asian, Latin rases as best as I can do. So far these characters will be Latin and African, I know I need to work on the dude a bit more to bring out the Latin look but I will. well that's about all for now
