Hello, This is Jeremy. Because this post is so long I set it up where you need to click the post title to see the post. So please CLICK THE POST TITLE "It toke a while But here it is.". Thank you.

Papa Herb’s ice cream parlor is a small quiet place with the kindest ice cream man there is.

One day a little boy came in with a coupon, which said, “get one free make your own ice Sunday.” The little boy handed Papa Herb the coupon and he said to the little boy ”well, well, well, aren’t you a lucky little boy.” You get to have what ever your little heart desires on your ice cream Sunday.

The little boy thought for a little bit and then told Papa Herb, “ I want the biggest ice cream Sunday you can make me!” Papa Herb started to laugh.

“Are you sure you can eat such a big treat?” asked Papa Herb, as he thought to himself how big could this Sunday really be?

“Oh yes sir I am really. So hungry in fact I can eat a hole mountain of ice cream!” Replayed the little boy. For kick and giggles Papa Herb got his biggest ice cream Sunday bowl he has.

“Are you ready to make your Sunday?” asked Papa Herd to the little boy. The little boy nodded his head and with a great big smile on his face he yelled, “ Yes, Sir!”

“Ok then let begin,” said Papa Herb.

“I want Chocolate, Strawberry, and Vanilla ice cream, also some Mint Chocolate Chip, Peppermint Stick, Rocky Road, Butter Pecan and Peanut Brittle. Some Peach, Blackberry, Moose Track and Sherbet ice cream,” the little boy said enthusiastically as Papa Herb ran around all over the ice cream parlor trying to keep up with the little boys demands.

I want hot fudge, hot caramel, butterscotch. Strawberry, and pineapple toppings as the boy toke a big breath before he continued. Sprinkles, snowcaps, gummy bears and gum drops, licorice and chocolate chips and also don’t forget whipped cream and five cherries if you please.

Papa Herb was tired exhausted from all of the running around but finally finished the biggest Sunday in town. The Sunday was so big that Papa Herb asked for help to carry it to the table so the little boy could sit down.

Papa Herb went back to his counter as he watched the little boy to see if he could finish this creation. The little boy licked his lips and took a scoop full of ice cream from the very top, in which was his very first bit.

All of a the sudden some thing odd just happened the little boy got up from the table where he was sitting. Papa Herb was so confused. Did he forget an ice cream or a topping? He was so sure that is put five cherry on top what could it be?

As the little boy got to the counter Papa Herb started to panic.” Excuse me sir, Can I please have a box, I am stuffed?”

The Last page is just some ruff drawling of spots that I was thinking of using for the text page.

Animation-style characters

Quite recently I've been looking at the work of the nine old men from old Disney, and while I definitely respected their work before, I never knew before how many levels this stuff is working on. It's completely amazing how well thought-out it is. I'm already starting to disdain flat graphic stuff a little bit for not having nearly as much thought behind it's shape construction and direction. Huge, HUGE thanks to Kevin for really educating me on this.

I'm much happier with the short guy than the tall guy. I drew this last night but already I can see the tall guy needs work. His pose could be better constructed and a bit more energized, and his face is too firm, not quite animated enough - needs more squash and stretch going on. A decent start though, yes?

I'll eat your bones

It's a troll-type thing. That's a stylized snake tattoo on his gut. He probably took that crown from some noble he ate years ago.

New Web Design

Hey all! I'm working on this new design. I still have a few things to do. One of those things is the logo, I'm going to add in some baroque piping/stone relief looking stuff around it. Check it out.

first steps

This is a rough for Gary Barker. Originally supposed to be more like a hellboy type universe creature/character. but doing that kind of concept art to me it too lame (ok, really i don't mean lame) and too done, and quite simply too easy sometimes to make things look ugly and demonic. Soooo i went in the other direction a little, he likes it so far. I had a dream once where i was diving out of heaven, to bring peace to a really dark situation, and decided to use that for this assignment

Vampire Protection

"Vampire Protection" 8 X 8, Oil on Canvas

HAHAHA I love my name for this one! I hate naming things by the way, so I don't really take it seriously or I just name it what it is.

Any whoo, here's some garlic! I'll be starting my daily paintings tomorrow, I've set up shop in my sisters walk-in closet! Its freaking huge!! I'll take some pictures and put them up.

DOOM!

I had a dream back in like, April, that actually formed a cohesive story and was chock full of things that I adore. I got super-excited and wanted to do all this cool stuff with it, but it fizzled. That happens with a lot of my personal projects, like the story of the little girl (most of you probably know about that one). I guess it's hard to do work when I'm the only person I need to appease? Anyway, here's the only drawing I've gotten out of it so far: the castle where pretty much everything occurs.

And the post is labeled DOOM because we're going off the grid over here. Moving to a new apartment (mailing address is the same since it's a box) and we have to get the internet turned off here and turned on there. The internet is going in Joachim's name, so for anyone who knows him they shouldn't be surprised to hear it's already turning out to be a huge cluster****. Who knows how long we won't have internet, so if you got something to say, call me!

Bitten

"Bitten" 9 X 12, Oil on Canvas

This one here, well I'm not really sure of the sequence of these. If it came after or before my last post "Sprinkles". But one or the other was a in response to the other. "Sprinkles" wasn't nearly as much paint and texture as this one. Experimentation!

More patterns!

The first one shouldn't really count since it's just stripes. But I put in the effort to make it (took longer than I thought...) so by Jove I'm including it here.

A lot of this is looking at other patterns. The whole "making patterns from scratch" thing is pretty new to me so I gotta get inspiration elsewhere. I guess that's the creative process? *shrug*

Repeatable pattern!

Since there's been a revival and everyone else is getting in on the act, I want to be cool too, so I'm posting. I've been getting into graphic design stuff lately, so here's a repeatable pattern.

You could say it's based on the background of the new (and beautiful!) sketchables, but.. it's really not. It IS based on a pattern I found, though I had to make it my own since the image was so dang small I couldn't really make it out - which is fine by me. Makes it more original I guess. I'll probably do some more of these cuz it was relatively easy, and pretty fun.

Sprinkles

"Sprinkles" 8 X 8, Oil on Canvas

Hey all!! Here is a painting from a week or two ago, I can't remember. All I know is I've moved since then. I have a bunch more from my week of painting in Sarasota but I've decided to post one at a time until I get my paints set up. I think This one is my least favorite from the bunch, the background is just to plain to me, especially the plain that the cupcake is sitting on, it needs more texture and change of color.
